3 cues

maybe they're all WAITING for their harris.
I have 3 of them so they are delivered. Atleast, you know he does not make that many and they are truely rare! Plus, they are one hell of a good playing cue. No one has come on and said they weren't!
Ted is truely an innovator and created one of the first portable lathes if not the first! His cue construction and use of technology pre dates most cue makers. Teddy was coring cues after learning about black boar in his area and started coring long ago. Plus, he was one of the first to slap on radial pins and sleeved wood to wood joints. He worked on numerous cues as a repair man first and learned what worked and what didn't! He will make it your way but when he makes it his way you really get a great hit!
I am partial to player cues that he makes. The type joint he uses with phenolic sleeved rings makes for a stiffer hit then then regular dpk and southwest and gilbert that have the butt rings and shaft rings very close together in the joint area. The further they are spaced out in relation to the middle of the joint pin the more stable. His are further apart and reinforced by the phenolic rings and a phenolic sleeve. So, when he sets the pin it is less likely to split or crack as the rings/sleeve stablizes the area while he sets the pin. Plus, the sleeve does not stop the vibration or interrupt the the vibration from tip to bumper because he maintains a wood core thru out the cue. All i can say is, that "it truely is similar to meucci construction but instead of plastic on the outside you have beuatiful wood that vibrates better then Plastic!!!!!"
Plus, he use melamine ferrulles that deflects less than ivory and use 3/4 inch ferrulles to further decrease delection! It may not be Zero deflection like predator but darn close while maintaining good feel. Plus if you go on the meucci website and read the
Original article on deflection it indicates the need for vibration to travel thru the cue and be uninterrupted!!
http://www.meuccicues.com/deflection.htm Here is a link to read for ones self!!! Thats why I like players cues becuase the vibration is uninterrupted by points cut into the center maple core to interrupt the flow of energy thru the cue. The outer core channels the energe thru the cue and out the end. Plus, ted does not use weight bolts for this reason. Plus, they rattle and come loose unless they are glued in like Southwest!!!!
I can go on and on but they are truely good cues!!!! Oh and by the way WAWA nice cue!!! I would love to add to my collection. Think about it and if you ever want to let it go or it is sitting in the case getting lonely let me know????
