Here are some pics of the Ted Harris cue I have, it is not signed, it is 58 inches long, about 12.75 mm pro taper, I don't have a scale but I would say 18.5-19 oz. , one gold and one silver ring in the butt cap, the wrap was added by Clark custom cues in Tacoma WA, the joint is 3/8-10, both butt and shaft roll straight together and apart.

The wrap is tight but worn, I personnally like the feel, the points are nice but not really close in length, the finish on the cue has some flaws, no dings or cracking just some white spots. around the outside near the bumper are some nicks to the butt cap as you will see in the pictures. And the cue plays outstanding.

I had a ted harris for a while, it was a jump/break cue that hit so well i put a medium moori on and used as my playing cue for a long time.

whoever gets this cue is going to get a solid player :)
 
i paid 300 for mine, but it was a j/b and from a good friend so i'm sure retail is more than that.
 
sorry for the noob question, but what exactly does conversion mean? i'm assuming it just means taking a house cue and using the forarm and other peices and making a custom with it, but can that be done with custom cues?

is that an alternative to making a cue from scratch to offset the price, or is there other reasons for doing so?

yes that is basically what a conversion is and yes it is done by custom cuemakers.i asked b/c it would have a factor on the value of the cue.i think if Nate knew or found out it was not a conversion it could be worth more money.
 
I have no idea, the guy I got it from told me it was made for him in vegas while he was there, so I don't know. If I had to guess I would guess it is a conversion as very many cue builders do this. If anybody knows how to tell that would be great. Nate.
 
well one way to def know if it's a conversion or not would be by how thick the butt is. most cue makers wouldn't purposely make the butt thick, and i've noticed some sneaky pete conversions (yay new vocab) have a thick butt from the house cue not being turned down

Ok, bumping this up, still looking to sell, I will take $275 shipped and also, I was told by a few people the ferrule is ivory.
 
If I Didnt Have 2 Ted Harris Cues Already It Would Have Been Gone. Have A 3rd On Order. Alot Of Pros Have Used His Cues They Play Great. Dont Miss Out On A Great Cue
