Just got off the phone with Teddy Bear, my old buddy. He told me he just got things turned around in his life the last six months. He had a few tough years, with money lost in a partnership (he went broke), his wife being ill, and getting devastated by hurricanes.
I told him that if he ever had a cue that someone passed on to give me a call. I think he makes excellent playing cues. Very meticulous is correct.
By the way, there IS another side to the story of what went wrong in the cue deal with the disgruntled customer on here. Ted said he saved all the e-mails from the guy, which would be embarrassing to him if he ever posted them. But he felt that it was inappropriate to do that, and he is too busy doing cue repairs to come on here anyway.
Just thought you'd like to know he is alive and well and making cues again. Like someone else said, if you aren't in a hurry, by all means order a cue from Ted. But DON'T even ask for a delivery date. If you do, you will certainly be disappointed. It could be a year and it could be two years.
