Just got off the phone with Teddy Bear, my old buddy. He told me he just got things turned around in his life the last six months. He had a few tough years, with money lost in a partnership (he went broke), his wife being ill, and getting devastated by hurricanes.

I told him that if he ever had a cue that someone passed on to give me a call. I think he makes excellent playing cues. Very meticulous is correct.

By the way, there IS another side to the story of what went wrong in the cue deal with the disgruntled customer on here. Ted said he saved all the e-mails from the guy, which would be embarrassing to him if he ever posted them. But he felt that it was inappropriate to do that, and he is too busy doing cue repairs to come on here anyway.

Just thought you'd like to know he is alive and well and making cues again. Like someone else said, if you aren't in a hurry, by all means order a cue from Ted. But DON'T even ask for a delivery date. If you do, you will certainly be disappointed. It could be a year and it could be two years. :wink:

Tell him to go ahead and post them. Like I said, Jay, the ethics committee of the ACA had to get involved.

Are you sure and extra shaft or something would not be an acceptable peace offering. I am sure he would like to smoke the peace pipe with you and move on

I only said something because Jay posted something in regards to me. In case you haven't noticed, I said my peace, and then left it alone.

Ted has obviously got things back on track. I was just letting someone know of my experience with Ted. I didn't say he was a vile human being, nor did I hurl any sort of personal insult against him. I merely stated fact.

People get pissed around here when you post an opinion contrary to theirs. You're just one of that group. Ted has done more people wrong than just me. It just so happens that I use my real name as my ID here, so it's easier to take shots at me. I hope that Ted is doing well with his business now, as I never wished the man any ill will.

There are ALWAYS two sides to the story Shawn. I have heard Ted's and it differs quite a bit from what you related on here. He has no time to come on here to rehash old business with you. You seem to feel the need to do that with your multiple posts on this thread.

I'm leaving this alone now, Jay. If you want to talk with a neutral third party, contact Keith Josey or Jim Buss. They'll give you the true story. I asked for a refund, as per Ted's money back guarantee. I didn't get one. Plain and simple.

The cue in question was sold over 6 years ago.

just as a side note! Joe Salaazaar has a nice Ted Harris for sale! I have not seen it but heard about it. He had it at Grady's senior tournament.
