Wire the money

Woah woah woah Willie,

I like you and all, but I think you are way off here.. This guy is woofing at Dave Matlock, and Matlock is just supposed to take it for granted that he's going to be able to drive 5 1/2 hours, and the game is going to be JUST like some guy woofing on the internet said it would?

And Matlock's backers... They are going to believe that someone who won't spend a few hundred bucks to come and gamble with Dave, is going to respect the game that was set up?

Did Corey insist that Harry Platis meet him in California? Harry would have told him to go **** himself. You think SVB goes around telling people they need to meet him 5 hours from their home court if they want to play him? Christ, no! He plays them pretty much wherever they'll put up the money!

Cory's backers can agree to wire the money to someone in St Louis and let the other side do the same

Dave going to feel pretty stupid when he drives 5 1/2 hours from home, and they can't agree on the table, the cue ball, the lighting conditions, whether the pool hall keeps the air conditioning on, etc. It's not like Corey's playing a chump here. If Corey agrees to play on some garbage tables, then Dave has a real chance to take him down.

I GUARANTEE you, that if they match up in some town away from both of them, the game ain't going to be as easy as "You got your 10,000? Yup... You got yours? Yup... Well, let's lag for the break!"

Not a chance that's gonna happen. If I were Matlock, I sure as heck wouldn't travel 5 1/2 hours with $10,000 in my pocket, and then assume everything will work out. That's a sucker move.

I do not have any problem with that. Nobody is personally calling out Dave Matlock. It was pretty much an open offer. However, they want to play in Kansas. That is NOT going to happen. Corey is already giving up the "nuts" according to all these posters, so why should we have to go to freaking Kansas? Meet in St. Louis and lets get this on. Quit the talking and just let em play. Why don't all the people running their mouth at McWhorter show up and show some gamble too. Hell, u might actually win something. Jamie hasnt booked a winner in 3 years, so you probably got the best of it. But remember, you dont get to make all the rules and then slam him for not agreing to everything.

> I'm not taking sides here at all. I will say this though. If I honestly thought I could give Dave the 8 on anything,it wouldn't matter WHERE the table was. I can't see Corey getting there unless Dave just can't make a ball on the break, and he breaks well enough that it will be apparent if the rack wasn't legit. Tommy D.

I don't think too many players can give up the WILD 8 to dave on a bar table. Not even Corey. Johnnyt

I don't think the w 8 on a bar table even comes into play unless made on the break and that is what corey is thinking also.
