tell the truth

One thing about the pros is that they can hit a high gear at any time. Apparently, that's what happened with Efren. However, that doesn't mean Mike couldn't do the same thing to him in the future. All this talk about Sigel being done is a little premature IMO. Sigel is obviously rusty. He hasn't played regularly in any tournaments for quite a while. But I still maintain that he is capable of being one of the best players around. Let's give him some time to get back in the swing of things before we bury him. Congratulations to Efren!

Lmfao.

I guess I was wrong. Sigel has "no chance" against these top players any more. That's why, next year, I'm thinking I should receive 10 to 1 on the money each time he plays one of those players that he has no chance against. What the hell? I'll donate. :D

That is hilarious. Yeah, if anyone is interested in giving those odds, I'll take some of the action as well.

I said that....

It's after the fact at this time but I always gave Sigel a good chance to win no matter who he played. In pool you can never count anyone out especially a person with credentials of a Mike Sigel. As for the poster who said that Efren would be replayinig his previous loss'es to Sigel he doesn't really know Efren. Efren on a pool table is always in the "moment." Efren, unlike a lot of other pros, still loves to play! Whe he is in So. Calif and at Hard Times he hangs around and plays pool. He may be playing a local just for the hell of it and maybe giving 12 or 15-3 anf you can tell while watching that he is having fun.

Apparently when he is at home that is enough to recharge his batteries. When he comes back he is always a favorite for the $. I wonder how long we will be into nest year before someone posts that he is not as much a factor any more. I seem to read that every here every year, and probably that might be true sooner than we might care to think---but not yet.

I said that and I have been one of those people who Efren just played for the hell of it. Loving the game has nothing to do with big money. I'm talking about human psychology in general. Maybe it doesn't effect his game and maybe he can get past it, but it's in human nature to remember your losses and forget your wins. That's all I was saying.

Besides, I called it that Efren was going to win the whole thing before the tournament even started.
