Not Really!
I keep score on the wall next to the table. I played 123 games of 10 ball with my wife in January. She has been playing for 9 years now. She kicks, banks and cuts balls pretty good. She understands the Tangent line and how it is related to cue ball position. She knows why the angle is her friend. I keep it on the wall to track her progress. She probably took about 20 of the aforementioned games. I am proud of her. She tore Rude Dog and myself a new one at the US Open a few years ago playing cut throat. Feel bad, hell no.

Excuussseee Me, I just double checked and it was 130 games at 90 /40. She is doing better than I thought. HOLY COW!

Losing
Me too, I just hate to lose. When I lose to a girl, I can usually see it coming and I beat myself.
I always beat the mean ones, like the other day in a statewide VNEA team tourney. This "women" sharked me, then apologized for doing it, then sharked me again. I won 10-4 but she was mean. She is also the girlfriend of the owner of a pool / bar that sponsors several teams, but not a good ambassador for that place.

I got worked by this cute asian chick before I started playing good awhile back, I mean I couldnt make 2 balls in a row, and she played good, bad combo. Didn't mind though taught me never to under estimate a lady with a cue (especially in an open tournament).

One night I was working in our other poolroom in Palm Bay Fl some years back (it's been closed for 10 now) and this gal and her boyfriend were playing on the table in front of the bar. They weren't very good by a poolrooms standards but, she was beating him anyway. He got so mad, cussed her and and was totally obnoxious. I pulled her aside and explained to her the type of man she was wasting her time with. He was showing her who he truly was and if he could be such a jerk over a pool game then she was going to have her hands full.... HERE'S YOUR SIGN!!!

I would probably be upset if a girl beat me more than a game or two or a set or two if we were playing seriously, atleast straight up. I didn't mind losing during practice at the swanee to a girl one game because she ran out, so I don't know for sure.... So I guess I might be upset if I lost to someone that didn't play at my level, but not if they out played my ability, but I'm always upset about losing to lesser players or little punks that think they're better than they are whether they're female or not.

its only happened to me 3 times, yesterday was one of them. anyone could have beat me I couldnt play the pain was too much so i just gave her the match, to answere the question.....no not at all, loseing sucks period, i play the table and not the player.
flip side of the coin when I beat a girl I actually feel bad about it, unless they are a pro. I played Mary Kenniston alot when she was on tour in the earily 90's and we pllayed even, that was a tough game-we didnt play for $$$. I didnt feel bad about beating her, but other girls who arnt pros that try their best then yeah i feel bad.
