Am I correct that, at least in the Predator event, making the 10 on the break spots but ONLY if it's made in one of the foot corners and is a win if it drops up table??
Weird rule IMHO. Like 9 Ball, the 10 only goes if the rack isn't tight or if it's kicked...so essentially by luck.
So, what is the difference if the cheese lucks into the foot corners or lucks in up table???
There is SO much complaining about the luck factor in 9 Ball with 10 Ball supposedly being the answer, it seems odd that a pure luck shot would be allowed.
Personally, I wish that almost ALL luck was removed from any pool game.
The games ought to be played with called balls/pockets with slopped in balls staying down but ending the inning if the called shot is missed.
And the cheese ball gets spotted if made on the break in any pocket...both games.
And one of the commentators made a very interesting suggestion.
If the called shot is MISSED and the shooter ends up with a lucky hook, the opposing player can make the shooter shoot again!!!
I LIKE that!
