I have the older model of that one . No vortex but with a dust cannister.
A 12" wok can work as a vortex plate for it.;p

IMO, you'd want a fine micron canister on top of that.
I bought of of these in new condition off CL years ago for 200.00. probably should have sold it several times. Now it's pretty beat.
I bought the Grizzly after that for 400. Again, in excellent condition. Don't get any small pets within a foot of the suction or you'll never see them again.
