Hi,

Do you happen to have links to various results of McChesney's Texas Express tour?

Hard now because anything you type in with "Texas Express" in it, it pulls up thousands of sites.

I'd like to go back through all the results that can be found.

Since McChesney is dead, you might check with the other two tour founders, both of which post here...Rockin' Robin and randyg. I doubt that there are links, since most of the Texas Express tour was before the internet.

Right here on AZ is a source for a ton of the results. The newly announced acquisition of the National Billiard News archives will be a great place to start. I think you have to be a gold member to access them, not sure.

I myself have about 90% of the event results that I personally directed somewhere in the growing pile of billiard debis that has been accumulating in my mancave and storage units over the past 40+years.

I made copies of all the pictures of the winners and runnersup, and who beat who with all the scores, and the payouts.

At the conclusion of the events, we had a paper work system that gave enough info to make writing an article a snap. I must have sent hundreds if not more to all the magazines that we advertised with.

Pool and Billiards, Billiards Digest, Texas Billiard News, American Cueist, and The National Billiard News all got bombarded with recaps and results. The aforementioned mags are like looking back at billiard history. Look for issues from the early 90's to the mid 2000's.

As I dig into this pile after the first of the year.....well maybe this next summer....I may do some 'Blasts from the Past' articles depending on AZB's bankroll. LOL
