Texas Hold'em Billiards

I kind of like it, since you get to see them try shots they wouldn't do normally but I still prefer the regular format better. Nice change of pace though...

Couldn't believe what Archer did....

On ESPN right now!

Amazing how Johnny Archer faked not having a chance at pocketing a ball and breaking up the cluster so that Jannette Lee could be eliminated from the ring game for Johnny to enter in the last 2.

I couldn't believe Johnny could do something like that.

I found what J/A did was how a pro should play...TO WIN..I would consider it much like a safety play. Only it was an elimination play against J/L. It was a well thought out move by him and shows why he is one of the best, his head is always in the game and he is aware of all his options.

I wanted shmidt to win but I love Archer too so it's all good.

I love the format, I think it's awesome to see some of the shots that are made that never would have been attempted if safeties were allowed.

That was an easy shot

Schmidt should have won it though, but he missed that shot on the 9.

John missed an easy shot on the 9. I really felt bad for him. That was for 25 grand. Was there nerves involved or what. I couldn't believe he missed it. He had just cut the eyes out of two backward cuts. That's pool!!!

He got into his head because the CB ended up on the rail...so what all he had to do was float it in...it's not like he had to move it 3 rails for shape....kinda like Jeanette...she has the theatrics down perfect...

I caught most of it today. Bad miss by Schmidt on the 9 on a pretty easy shot. They all played well and it was interesting to watch. Baretta made some great shots. One thing I don't understand with Breedlove - he is really good but I don't see or hear much of him in tournaments. We had Jeannette at our store for an exhibition in the late 90's and she brought George with her. He did some trick shots and actually stole the show with one-handed, under his leg shots at moving balls - and made them.
