l've heard (not seen) it used as a 9 ball spot; weak player keeps shooting if they move the 9.
Is that stronger or weaker than "win if you make the 9 hit the bottom rail"?
Had a guy on this site say he and his friend played one game of Texas One Shot, decided it was too hard, and immediately try to turn it into a points game. If it was easy it would not be fun. It is a game that rewards a player for trying the hard shots. Riding the 9 sounds easy until you have to do it every shot. You would think a scratch would lead to a quick finish but that is not always true. This game let's you see if you really know that shot. You find out where you need to improve real quick.
I appear the fool? I play games I like. I am seeking to get the sport I love into the Olympics. I created an excuse to drive across the state I love and play pool with folks I have never met while trying to my make childhood dream a possibility for the children of today.
