I don't have a definite number right now but I know it is right around 60, so far.

Last year at this time we had 32 paid and ended up with 117. We are cutting it off at 128 and I feel confident we will reach that number this year.
 
All I know is there are more phone calls this year than any year previous. It's really is going to be special this year.

Also, if you haven't heard we implemented a lifetime exemption a few years ago for all Texas Open champions. That means if you snap it off you never have to pay an entry fee again for life!!

Here are some other notable winners that we haven't heard from. If you know these guys let 'em know they get to come swing at it for free if they get their name on the list:

Buddy Hall
CJ Wiley
Bob Vanover
David Martinez
Javier Franco


It's gonna be a great field... there's even rumor that Earl Strickland's gonna put his name in the hat.

Just to let you know Bob was talking about coming to play for a while but he changed his mind. He did say he mite show up to watch.
