Also for this event, James Henshew of Waco Texas has donated a jam up cue to be raffled at the Open.

Why? James simnply loves this event and wanted his name on it.

He has even told me that there are at least 1, maybe 2 guys who have offered to buy the cue from the winner for $1000. What a deal?!

James is a good man and one hell of a cue maker. We thank him so much for his generosity.

I have been playing with a Hanshew for over a year now. I love it! I have another one in the works now.

I'll be buying some raffle tickets for sure!

It would be great to have you Shawn. I don't know the exact answer to that but will find out by mid afternoon and will post it.

I do know that we had 117 players last year and we have more entries now than at this point last year. As I said though, I will call and post it later this afternoon.
 
Hey Lewis - is there a limit to the number of players? Or it is open for as many as sign up?

I MAY try and do brackets online again - not sure.

There is a limit to the 1st 128 paid entrants. As mentioned before, this will be played with a players meeting/calcutta Friday night at 10:00pm. Plat will begin Saturday with time depending on the # of entries. We will play Saturday and Sunday and then plan to bring back the final 16 App. 11:00AM Monday and finishing aroun 5-6:30 on Monday evening.

To be more precise, at noon today there were 35 paid entries. Last year we had a total of 117 entries and at this point had about 25 entries.

Response has been very good and I feel very confident we will have at least 100 and obviously hope to beat last years 117.

I see the Ambassador is at it again!! Howd' we get so lucky?

Hopefully we will have confirmation on the Texas "Challenge Match" soon.

We have 2 undercard players that may confirm soon, and 1 top player that will confirm Friday.

Anyone interested in playing a very challenging match up on Friday afternoon should call ASAP!!

I'm almost certain you can call G-Cue and pay by credit card and secure your spot.

Also, this event will end on Monday the 1st. We will bring back the final 16 for Monday.

Will the Ladies division end Sunday or extend into Monday? (My wife made me ask :embarrassed2: )
