no there has never been 1 pocket at the OpenI thought they had one-pocket at this last year. No one-pocket this year?

Alright. Thanks. I thought I might have it wrong after I wrote it. Skinny Bob's sounds like a good place for a state 1p tournament with the equipment and personnel they have. Maybe they'll consider it in the future. I'd definitely come down for it.

that is my very next project!!
Excellent, ironman. A state 1p tournament has a lot of potential, imo. There are a lot of good players and interest in the game in Texas, which also has a fine history in it. I hope it comes off. It might become one of the best state tournaments in the US, as the Texas Open 9 Ball Championship is. Who doesn't want to win that one? Good luck.

Never heard: Is the players meeting mandatory?
honestly it has not been discussed but it would be good for all. However that said, I suppose as long as you are paid up, I guess it is not mandatory!
Where is a good place to stay for the tournament??
Barry I booked in at the Wingate at exit 253, but the Candlewood suites are good also. I stayed at Candlewood in 2008, it's about 2 miles away. Is Jeff comming with you?
that tournament should be renamed the bob vanover classic
I heard his brother don't shoot too bad either!
