Texas State 9/10 Ball Championships (BCAPL Players)

There is some thought being given to holding a Texas 9/10 Ball Championship in the Sept-Oct time frame.

Your responses here and the sentiment of players at the State 8 Ball Tournament in March will help to determine if it is something the players want.

Yes it is, but that is "The Texas Open" and this is the Texas BCAPL State.

Nobody would consider having them on the same weekend.

I did not say they were the same thing, I was informing you to make sure you know about the Texas Open since it is during the time you were asking about.

No one would consider having them on the same weekend, but do some players that would be in your BCAPL also play in the Texas State Open or travel to watch it? If so, they might not be excited to pay for travel and both tournaments if there are only a few weeks apart.

I would totally be down with that!!! However, the timing of it AND the Texas State Open might hinder that decision. If it was more than a month apart then my answer would be a definite YES! :grin-square:

The moody gardens tournameent is 10 days and they have a bca style 8 ball teams on bar tables..Im sue that will take up a lot of players..
