Thanks Diamond Billiards

I would like to thank Diamond Billiards for the great service. About a month ago i got a new Pro table and when it got to my house the end rail had a bad chunk out of the diamond wood. They made a note of it and i talked with Brian at Diamond and he told me it would be fixed asap. Well Today they show up with a brand new top and replace the whole thing. The guys that fixed the table travel all over the US and they do great work. The table plays great!! and i just wish i would have got one sooner. Thanks again t the guys at Diamond Billiards.

Sure looks like it. But isn't that the Pro Am? Looks just like mine, which is the Pro Am.

And Doug, did you opt for the pro cut pockets? They're the nutz! :thumbup2:

Yes its the pro am table. I also got the pro cut pockets. I am planing on playing on some of the tours next year so i thought i would get me a good table to practice on. I love it. It also have the tournament blue cloth on it. Great table.

What size is that table?

I am trying to get one too. BTW what was your out the door cost with taxes, delivery, and set up? Just wondering. So I might know what to expect.:D

Nice table.I play on the same tables once a week(set up by RKC),they are the best IMO.Only complaint,I get tired of bending low to scoop the balls from the tray.Myself I prefer drop pockets especially for 1P games.
 
I do too. There is one pool hall and 2 bars that have pro ams in my area, play on them all the time. As close to perfect as you can get.

It is a 9' table. I really cant tell you what i got it for because i worked out a special deal with them. You see i travel to a lot of the tournaments and help them keep the tables clean so i think i get a good deal on one. How ever if you call Diamond and talk to Brian and tell him that Doug Carter told you to call him that might help some. Not that i am somebody but i do have a very good friendship with a some of the people that work for them. Just a thought. Good luck

Thanks, I love it. It has trashed my bar box game LOL i have just got use to shooting so easy on my diamond my speed is way off on the BB. I just don't play on the BB much anymore but my big table game is really coming around. I am hoping to play on some of the stops next year. I hope to start with the DCC if i get there.

It does hurt my back after a while but to me its well worth it for the quality
 
I think I recall reading in a couple of places that this model needs to be installed on the ground floor, because the enormous weight of the one piece slate. Maybe I'm off, but the pic looks like a basement- no windows, drop ceiling.

Am I reading this wrong? Was it an issue?

Or maybe a walkout basement, so installation was no problem?

Yes it is a walk out basement. The table is very heavy and i dont think you would ever get it up any steps. I think they told me it was 1540 lbs. I know its heavy.
 
Great table...

That's a nice table and room you have set up. I can't wait until I am done messing up, uh, remodelling my house, so I can finally get one myself!

It all came together. They had it on a big dolly, rolled it in put the legs on, flipped it down and it was ready to play. It took about 30 minutes for everything after they got the truck backed to the door. Again they did a great job. I had 2 guys here to help us but it was so simple Thanks again

If someone's interested in a ProAm and installation won't allow for it, then the table can be set up with a 3 piece slate and assembled in the room no different than any other table;)

The thing about the pro Am is the one piece slate. I am not sure they make it in a 3 piece slate. I might be wrong though

Doug, I've delivered and set the ProAms up with a 3 piece slates. The last one I set up was Billy Incardona's 9ft ProAm last month. ;)
