I am trying to get one too. BTW what was your out the door cost with taxes, delivery, and set up? Just wondering. So I might know what to expect.:D

Based on what I paid, a set-up tournament-used 9' Pro Am will run you ~$5k... more or less. Call Brian at Diamond (812-288-7665) to get a price quote for the table. You may have to get a set-up quote separately.

Either

The thing about the pro Am is the one piece slate. I am not sure they make it in a 3 piece slate. I might be wrong though

The table is standard with a one piece slate. Glen aka RealKingCobra is the Master of the ProAm!! LOL. He is the only one, to my knowledge that can convert one to 3 piece slate.

If your space will only allow a 3 piece set up, Glen can hook you up on the ProAm!

I'm confused. What is 6*4? You will not get a "good" table like the one pictured for 1,700$.

In a room 6 x 4 meters, that's about 19ft 6in L x 13ft W, which is long enough for a 9ft, but a little short on the sides. You must not have the table centered end to end in the room. In order to price a table, one would need to know in what area you live first, because that can decide what kind of tables are available in your area to buy...LOL

Still don't know where you live, so best guess for a used Diamond 9ft would be $10.00 for the table, $10,000.00 for delivery, set up may be an additional charge:D

I think I recall reading in a couple of places that this model needs to be installed on the ground floor, because the enormous weight of the one piece slate. Maybe I'm off, but the pic looks like a basement- no windows, drop ceiling.

Am I reading this wrong? Was it an issue?

Or maybe a walkout basement, so installation was no problem?

Are 3 smaller pieces of slate any heavier than 1 big piece of slate?

Is there any truth to "this model needs to be installed on the ground floor, because the enormous weight" ???

No

It's all about the access.
