...for running a fantastic tournament over the weekend at Hollywood Billiards. Tournaments are getting sparse down here Southern California so it was great to see Johnny Archer, Scott Frost, Billy Palmer, Mark Haddad, Ronnie Allen, and all the rest. The most exciting match for me, though, was LA's own Oscar Dominquez coming back to win his match after Max Eberley had him down 3 zip.

I really appreciate the kind words. I want to acknowledge Jeff Bey and Mark Griffin for producing this fine tribute to Jay Swanson. Jay was just one of the all time greatest people and pool players!
Also another than you to Fatboy for bringing Johhny out here and pumping up the purse by a grand. One more thing. I'm only disappointed that all the AZ'ers don't come up and say hi to me. I WANT TO MEET YOU GUYS, so I can put a face with a name.

We'll be making improvements before the next tournament at Hollywood Billiards. We will get a proper flow chart mounted on a wall for everybody to read. I know it was near impossible for everybody to find their names on that 256 man board. I WILL do something about that.
This way you will have a better idea when your match is coming up. Once we got going it wasn't too bad, but the first couple of hours Saturday were tough. There's always room for improvement.
