I just want to say thank you to Bill for giving us so many good years of
dedication to the pool community. He had one of the best if not the best
rooms in N.J. Comet will be missed dearly. I know Bill pretty well and I hope
it will work out for him for the best .

Kudos to Bill Haley!!!

Bill Haley is one of the most dedicated people to pool I know. I met him recently and found him to be a very good person all around. I would also like to thank you Bill for all the yaers of good things you have done for the benefit of pool as a whole and all of us players. You truly will be missed in the NJ pool community!
 
Bill Hayley ran a GREAT poolroom. It was always a pleasure playing at Comet and I know many of my friends felt the exact same way. The place will truly be missed.

I have relatives that live close to your room and it gave me a good reason to come down to your room and play in the events held there. I was so impressed with your room I used it as one of the settings for my book.

Sorry to hear your shutting your doors. I really enjoyed coming down and playing in your room.

Thanks Comet Billiards... for all the events you have hosted that I had the oppurtunity, and the pleasure to play in at your room Bill. When I first heard of the news that this room was closing, I did not want to believe this news. Some of my more memorable wins against the top pros have come out of your room. This Pool room will definitely be missed by alot of pool players and pool fans as well.

Bill and his staff ran one of the best rooms anywhere, and hosted any number of great tournaments over the years. Comet will truly be missed.
 
I've posted in every thread about Comet and Bill Haley. I was there many times. Good people, great pool room, great equipment, nice atmosphere...a terrible shame it had to close. Best wishes to Bill and his family for the future.
