I recently got two humorous theme gambler
cues from Paul and Ellen
it was such a thrill seeing the humorous scenes inlaid into the cue
so intricate and beautiful
I designed the theme and Paul took it from there
I can not imagine anyone else doing something like this
The inlays wrap around the cue and cannot be seen in
pictures even if I could take pictures
If you want something really different ,I recommend
PFD,Paul Drexler
Dean Campbell
I remember getting an ivory wrap cue from him
at a show in Las Vegas,it had Blue Veneers extendin
y joint, setting a record for longest points ever
I had waited about a year and when I got the cue
it actually brought tears to my eyes
I tell you how nice that cue was,Rick Landurg
of Best Billiards in Orange County ran me down and
bought the cue before I could put it in a case
That was about 15 or 20 years ago and Rick still has the cue
I had bought many Ivory Wrap cues from all the great cue makers
but thet never looked as well balanced as that one
I think Paul or probably Ellen has a artistic streak
Once I traded Paul something for 7 cues, when the first one arrived
it was so very beautiful that I sold it to a very happy customer
and sent Paul half the money because I thought he had
put too much into the cue
Honest story, and you guys know me
