Thanks to all of those who contributed to make the 40th US Open 9 Ball Championship a positive experience.

First, thanks to the Players, a great field showcasing some of the best pool we have ever seen. Congratulations to Cheng Yu-Hsuan for winning this prestigious championship over such a stellar field.

Thanks to the AccuStats team for the live stream. A few bumps, yes, but the excellent communication of the problems and the effort going into solving them; kept the irritation to a minimum. Some really good commentary added to the enjoyment.

Thanks to AZ billiards for their excellent coverage, up to date bracket information and live scores. Also the AZ forum nation who provided informative and interesting commentary throughout the event.

Thanks to the support staff, referees and others working to keep things flowing smoothly under what would seem to be difficult conditions at times.

A special thanks to Pat and Jay for lending your credibility to an event sorely in need of it and your efforts in making it happen.

I must say that I also enjoy the live coverage on AzBilliards Main Page showing the tables with the scores. I noticed Lucasi was one of the sponsors. I can't remember the other ones, but I do remember Lucasi being one sponsor.

I have a Lucasi cue case that I won from being an AzBilliard Gold Member. It is very nice. Long live Lucasi! :cool:

I also have a Lucasi, love the hit and overall feel of it. I alternate between it and my Meucci which I have had a lot longer.

That said, I was remiss in not thanking the sponsers, they are indeed integral to any event and should be supported wherever possible. I am sorry for the oversight and I thank you for the gentle reminder.

Great field, and really enjoyed the stream! My whole family watched most of it, and the icing on the cake was a friend won it!
Congrats to Kevin Cheng for going undefeated through all monsters!

The preparation before each shot and the cue ball control showed by young Mr. Cheng was first rate and should serve as a standard for others.
 
Was the gentleman that played saxophone recorded that anybody knows and what was his name thanks UGGs Mrs. G
