Congrats on a great first tournament.
Although I wasn't able to attend, I did speak to one of the players and he was very happy with the way the tournament was run.
If I may, here are some observations from the stream side of the tournament.
On Saturday, the auto focus was being used on the camera. That was very irritating to the viewers because it kept refocusing every time a player came to or left the camera side of the table. It was much better on Sunday.
The lack of a commentator was a real drawback and I think you lost a lot of viewers because of that. People would tune in and they had no idea of what was going on. Scores were being posted for the TV table in the chat but no other information was given. A commentator can provide a lot of information to viewers and it would keep them on the stream.
Remember, more viewers = more sponsors and advertisers = more money for you and the players.
You use ring games, a second chance tournament and other action as selling points for your tour. It would have been nice to get updates on all of these things on the stream, either by a commentator or via the chat. Again, it would help to keep viewers.
On the up side, I think you did a good job of keeping matches going on the TV table. While I was watching, there were no real big gaps between matches.
I'm sure I will think of a few other things in the future. I know most of these things are relatively minor but IMHO, I think they will help you in creating a successful tour in the future. I am just passing along some observations in hopes that they will help. They are not meant to criticize.
I hope to see more of your events in the future.
