The Action Pool Tour (APT): June 11-12 Top Hat Cue Club, Parkville, MD!

Let's Make It Happen!

Only 4 days left! I want to urge everyone to come out and support this effort. Do not be one of those people who sit out the first event to "see how it goes." If everyone did that, there would never be an event. Come out and do what you love to do - play pool! Let's make this a huge event with big payouts!

We already have well over 50 online entries from 6 different states. We need those people to actually show up and we want many many more. There is no maximum limit...if you sign-up by 12:00 noon, you are in!

Just to sweeten the pot, if we get over 80 players, I will personally put the first $200 in the Break & Run Pot out of my own pocket! Also, I am looking to organize high and low-dollar ring games Saturday night. So bring your action stash!

Remember, if we all turn out in large numbers for the first few events, sponsors will quickly jump on board and host rooms will add more money! That equals larger payouts for all of us. See you this Saturday!!!

seems like a good tourney! i am either gonna be there or will be playing the one at Qmasters in Virginia Beach , Va which tourney do you think pays best? i know the one at Qmasters is suppose to pay $1500 for first place plus give away a free entry into the 2011 US Open but that is also with a full field of 64.......I am up in the air about which to play? any ideas from anyone?

Both fine rooms. I would leave the decision up to you.

I think B'more gets more players...

Apt

Well, you know which one I will suggest!

I will tell you that 1st place with a 64-player field will not win $1,500 plus U.S. Open entry at the APT event in Parkville. However, the entry fee isn't $100 either.

If you are truely looking for good action, I would choose the APT tournament rather than a $100 bar table event...but that's just me. I like tough competition and lots to do all weekend.

I do have to disagree slightly that VA Beach and Norfolk players are good for action. There are a few, but most of them will never play you again if you beat them just once. That's way I go north or south! I hope to see you all in Parkville, MD.

I hoped to make it out, but apparently it is not an acceptable anniversary weekend activity for the me.

Have fun, folks! I hope to be doin some eye fuggin on the computer. Of the tourney, I mean!

Less than 24 hours away!

Event starts tomorrow at 12:00 sharp! We are looking forward to a great first event with plenty of action! Come out and support the cause!

I think it TOTALLY blows that I have to be on-call this weekend! Waaaaahhhhh!!

Not only do I have to work, I don't even have time to go watch some action, and I only live 20 minutes away.....:angry::angry:

Well, I'll be sure to make up for this in future events.

Now, off to work (on a Sunday)...Grrr!

Just wanted to say congratulations on getting 58 players to show for a summer event!

I think it is a testament to your hard work with promotion, advertising, attention to detail and a well-designed website.

So many people do such poor jobs of promoting their own events and their own rooms, it is refreshing to see someone perform their due diligence as you have done.

I also appreciate your quick responsiveness to peoples' questions on the forums.

I wish you a lot of success with this tour, and I will try my best to play in as many as possible.

I like donating...:)
