I have been on a quest to find out who was the hippie that left grand legends of pool action in Augusta Ga. in the early 70s.(Search The Hippie for the legend)

I talked to an older gentleman that was there during this period and was told that backers candy had died but Bucket was still alive and he knew him quite well.

I asked if he could ask Bucket who the Hippie was and he said "sure". He came in the pool hall yesterday and handed me a piece of paper. I opened it up and it said Toby Sweet.

Thanks to Falcon Eddie for his assistance. Toby must have been something to watch in those days. Anybody knowing Toby tell him he is a legend in this area and the best of luck.

There were two "Hippie Jimmy"s. There was only one player called "The Hippie" that could play as you described.

Toby Sweet was the true essence of a road player from the 60's and 70's. He could play.

Last guy I know of who spotted Buddy Hall. Gave him the eight in the late 60's.
