Anyway ill be looking for andvice on a variety of things so i'd thought i'd say who i was.

Damn this game is Addictive:)

Welcome to the forums. I'm sure you will find plenty of great advice here.
BTW my brother-in-law is from Adelaide but currently freezing his nuts off here in Canada, and hating the winters I might add.

Adelaide in 2007

I will be in Adelaide in March of 2007. A buddy of mine will be playing pool in the Police - Fireman International games. I plan to drop in during that time. I normally go to Melbourne and Perth often (I'll be in Perth thru the 15th, then back to Adelaide). Maybe we can hook up for a few racks!

There are a few "Yankee" 9 foot tables in Adelaide, Where do you play?

Welcoming a fellow aussie

Good to see other Australians are starting to find this great forum. Even if you are just a "bar table" player, you'll find lots of good advice, as well as some good stories, and even more enjoyable arguements;) .

I'm from Ballarat, and we are finally getting our first Brunswick 9' table in the main pool hall in town (it has 24 7 footers and a couple of snooker tables). This means I won't have to go down to Melbourne for my fix.

If you come through this way, drop a line so we can rackemup.

Daniel:D

Where did you find the 9 footer? From Melbourne? Any need for "Yankee" type pool supplies, let me know. I always bring a few Items to my friends in MEL and PER. Next trip in a couple of months.

I have one question, is Greg the 'Duff', Duffy still playing over there? He played in the World Championships during the early 90's.
Welcome, glad your aboard, whats with your name "frozen warp"? Why did you pick that?

I think you mean Craig Duffy.

He had big success with a gaming software company called Tomato and made millions. I think he spent a lot of time in the UK. Not sure what he's up to now, but I think he still competes in the occassional event.

Welcome

aboard ... Always nice to have foreign posters on the board, Lends itself to a different perspective and information. We just hired an Aussie recently to be our Director of Basketball Operations at Wichita State University. Coxsedge is his name, and he was an assistant coach on your Australian National Team.
