:angel2: airbrushing is no longer painting... hmmm. :angel2:
   I interpreted that to mean "it is not just simply painted on, or a decal, it is airbrushed by hand"
Interesting product. I appreciate you taking the the time to answer these questions. Best of luck.
Too bad about the name.
BECue is (or was) the screen name of one of AzB's long-time members. He is a cuemaker, and chose that name based on the initials of some family members.
I see he was on line yesterday asking how to change his username.
What will be the estimated price tag for Becues and when do you think you could get production up and running for these cues? I'm genuinely interested in the concept and I wish you and your business all the best for the future![]()
I'd fund you if I could for sure![]()
If I buy this cue for league play, would it be a....
Bar BeCue?

What I want more then anything (in regards to this cue) is a video of a capable pool player (someone at least A level) shooting with the cue and his/her honest opinion in a detailed review from that person.
With that being said, I'm definitely not in the market for this cue (or a cue in general), I'm more curious then anything.
I thought the Revo was a bit ridiculous when I first saw it, then I tried it and I beleive the hype. It's worth every penny, but like this cue it's just not for me.
It's nice to see the creators of the cue posting here and taking questions. That is a great start to the marketing of this (or any pool related item in general) and I wish them the best.

Predator is forced to re-think their one size fits all stance on the Revo.
Not sure if I qualify as A Level player (what is A-level exactly? does national champion qualify as A-level?) but once I get my Becue I will record short practice session and will post it on youtube for you to judge![]()

I don't think predator is being forced to do anything.
They have the man power, scale, and budget to probably do whatever they want in the cue industry. If producing the Revo in multiple sizes is that profitable, why aren't they doing it? Is there some guy in a predator office saying "I am really pissing this guy off in Syracuse, I might as well keep it up despite the massive revenue we are missing"?
Bob jewitt quoted as saying he wants Revo at 11.8mm after playing with custom 12.0mm Revo
Darren Appleton still playing with wood after 5 variations of sizes with Revo
Albin Ouchan using his Revo as a break cue during Mosconi cup but making killer shots with wood shaft player
BeCue sells out of 11.8 mm carbon composite at SBE 2017
Its only a matter of time.
And the guy in Syracuse is satisfied with the BeCue![]()
You provided an example of one person who wants a different size revo, and 2 people who own revos but aren't using them..... What argument, if any, are these examples supporting? Are you saying that there are people out there just like you who don't want the current size revo? Or are you saying there are people out there who don't like the revo at any size? Or are you saying the unplayed untested unseen BeCue will be better than the revo because it's offered in a different size than the revo?
This is a great comment and I thought the same.
When the cue makers visited the forum in the first thread, they showed they are honest and open with nothing to hide.
When I contacted them on the side, that thought was even more validated which is why I wanted to create this thread to keep the word flowing through the pool halls of cyberspace.
Its not very often that we get treated to a blast of positive energy in this sport. This is certainly just that.
I wasn't in the market for a cue either, and really wasn't in the market for carbon composite. However, with the price of the Kickstarter packages - its pretty much the industries first rent-to-own at manufacturer price.
There was too much upside to turn down...
Best case scenario - I have a new player (and I paid low$)
Middle case scenario - I have a break cue that is indestructible (and I paid low $)
Worst case scenario - I sell on the open market and can say I've experimented with carbon composite. (And it cost me zero $)
And in every scenario, I'm helping these guys get their first order in from the factory in time for super billiards expo.
Here's my prediction:
BeCue is here to stay to satisfy a new niche market in carbon composite shafts/cues
And
Predator is forced to re-think their one size fits all stance on the Revo.
****also to anyone who is wondering if carbon composite can be built at any ferrule size and length, email Alessandro, you'll be surprised at what they can do*****

Competition in the market is great and forces companies to compete.
So Bob Jewitt prefers it a different size, big deal.
Your claim to Darren? Prove to everyone why he thinks what he thinks, please. We would like to know how you know so much about Darren and his decisions.
Albin using his Revo? Maybe it was similar to Revo but actually different, we don't know this. So again please prove to us all how you are certain you know exactly what it was he was using.
In regards to Darren and Albin, like them, if you had world titles around your neck, would you change drastically with a busy event schedule. I would bet that you wouldn't.
And if the mister in Syracuse is happy with another cue, great we still have a player supporting the sport.
My bottom line here is that you are correct in stating that competition is healthy within an industry. We can all agree to that.
But I what I am going to state is that you, CardiganKid continually choose to provide your insight filled with knowledge of your arguments that is about as deep as my sons kiddie pool, very amusing.
Just as we have asked of BeCue, please show us solid proof of your knowledge that you so base your opinionated responses on. If you intend on supporting healthy competition within an industry, do just that please.![]()
No offense intended, but I will question the questioner.
