The best chalk

It's a shame when you can't start a thread that's
ment to be a little Humorous maybe a little Unique
without someone wanting to argue or highjack it.
I don't think 1/2 the people that posted in this thread
even know what it's about.
So here's the ORIGINAL!
I've had this piece of masters chalk for probably 2yrs. now.
So you can see why I believe masters to be the best chalk in my eyes.
And it only cost me $.20...I've never had any miscuing problems or
it not sticking to my tip.
Now I have'nt tryed the new kamui yet (Im still trying to save up enough $ for a piece).
But if someone can post a picture of a piece of kamui that size I might be
enticed to put a little more $ in my sock drawer every month for 1pc.
(Oh wait kamui's that size brand new) So forget about it I'll stick to my masters! lol

Now I'm sorry if I made fun of your precious $25 kamui chalk.

If anyone has pictures of thier lil pieces of chalk please post, I'd
love to see them. ( No Matter What Brand!!! )

****

Sorry to offend you Sir. I will post up pics of all my USED chalk tonight!!

Good day to you... :)

No offence taken
it's just so many threads get side tracked.
It's probably my fault, I should've titled my thread
The Best Chalk For The Money!!!

It wasn't sidetracked. You can't bash a product you haven't tried and then say that comment wasn't up for discussion. You steered the original post that way. I can't post a picture of my Jacoby saying it's the best full-splice hit out there, then continue to bash Dennis Searing because his cue would have cost ten times the amount, and then get pissy when someone refutes that comment.

Precisely.

fuc**** say this was supose to be a fun thread!!!!!!
Why don't you get it? Is thier something in the water up there in Wisconsin & Canada
to make you IGNORANT?

I'm sorry all I can say is "IDIOTS THIER EVERYWHERE"!

Go start your own thread!!!

I use Pre Flag. I was lucky and got a box and then got half a box from the pool hall. The owner was putting this stuff out on the tables.
I bought him a full box of Masters in trade. It saved me the hassle of stealing all of it. J/K.

After I tried BD, I bought a few boxes of Russian Magic and have to say, the Magic is every bit as good as the BD. If there is a difference, it is so minuscule.

Funny tho, I have to use regular Masters when chalking the phenolic tip on the breaker. My Flag won't stick to it.

I have made jokes about the Kamui chalk. I won't pay $25, however, I may pay $10 if it ever comes down that much.

I chalk after every shot and I doubt I will get myself out of the habit so the Kamui will probably last me about 4 days.

some people spend thousands of dollars to go to a tournament to try and win thousand of dollars.
Then complain about the price of chalk and a cue tip. The two most important parts of the cue, and saving a few dollars while missing the opportunity to win big or get the full potential of their game.
If you are a professional pool player, and pool is your main income,or you want to become professional, it makes no sense what so ever to be skimping on equipment to win.
Buy the best that money can buy and practice with it.
It is like being a mechanic and having second rate tools, it costs you money not to have the good ones, or the innovative things that improve your ability.

Even $50 for a cube of chalk that will save you from a misscue is worth it if you win just 1 competition as a result of the improvement, or consistency or what ever it does for you and your game.

For me pool is fun. I don't care if I get second, I just like playing.

Try this method. Brush the chalk across the tip, don't twist the chalk back and forth drilling the chalk. It soon becomes second nature and you'll use the entire face of the chalk. If you develop pointy corners, simply sand the face of the chalk cue against a sidewalk and it will be flat again.

I use blue Masters also. I have seen others use a piece right down to the nub,,finger tip size. Your almost there.
I have tried,,but cannot make a piece wear evenly. Always end up with a hole being drilled ,then the ferule turns blue and it goes in the used box.

Thanks to Wimpy, Fatboy, and TX Poolnut for knowing
What this threads about.
Sorry, I also thank Cigar Dave. Nice Pic's

i been around a while ;)

best regards,

Eric:)

BTW: in my very first post in this thread I said it was a cool fun thread. I was guilty of discussing other chalk and acknoledged that it was a bit off the main issue of this thread, but it was still chalk talk. I still like this thread and if I have some more to add to it I will. I love the pics in it for sure, IMO its been one of the coolest threads in a very long time.
