The best ever?

Everyone says Efren, but if it were a real vote, I'd say Mizerak. We all know how good Efren is, and we all know how good the Miz was. Heck, he entered his first 14.1 tournament at, what? Age 14? And won it? And then was denied entry to it the next year, because they said "he was too good"? The guy played 14.1, 8-ball, 9-ball, you name it, PLUS he was a total card, always playing the crowd while he was playing his opponent. Just watch his videos, heck, he even made fun of his own large stomach when bending over to make shots. Watching him was poetry in motion AND funny, always enjoyable. Efren is a great player, but I think people are forgetting the "crowd factor", which the Miz perfected, hands down.

Efren comes out on top in one pocket, head over heels better than anyone, and from there it can be a toss-up for who's the best in a particular game.

I think Efren may be the greatest 8-ball player ever too.

Yup, I said the same in post #8 of this thread. Efren is the only player that is the best ever at two of pool's major disciplines.

A natural player, a banker, someone who plays the game from their own perspective, and by doing so will change the game at hand, the Knoxville Bear or Efren or Bugs Rucker come to mind, they just think and process matters differently.
