I acquired a joss east around 1988 in everett,wa.from a local player by the name of Mike dooley. It has long ebony rectangular shaped points if you will in the forearm with a red veneer and a darkish almost orangish stain. In the butt there were 4 inlays of pool tables with mother of pearl dots representing pool balls. At the joint collar in white lettering it read "Made for nick varner world champion" Back then that meant something. Anyways that cue hit a ton. Too bad I let a girl play with it for a bit and I never saw it again. Wish i could have a do over on that 1.
