The biker fight in Waco made me wonder

It was reported that the Bandidos decided they were the only ones in the Texas schoolyard that could wear the Texas patch. The Cossacks wore it anyways and didn't pay the fee. It's like wearing the same clothes as the cool kids without their approval.

No civilians were injured because none are stupid enough to stick around when hundreds of different bikers show up, much less a couple dozen. Just another gang, except they ride bikes.

The tone of this post is exactly why I had been staying away from AZ Yet another kekeyboard cowboy. I would love to watch you say this in person, to the people you mentioned above.

It is a public forum, and you do have the right to say what's on your mind, but it's much to easy for people to shoot off at the keys and not be responsible for there comments.

This is my last comment On this thread. I was a lurker on this forum for a few years before i registered. It was all because i loved pool. I promised myself I would not let my club life be apart of my discussions here on AZ.

You prove my point. Just bullies.. bullies that ruin lives, just like any other gang.

2nd hand story don't know if he was a biker but...

There was a big guy named Jim Walker He's a pool-shootin' son of a gun.

Outta south Alabama a guy named Jim said he was a pool-shootin' boy by name 'a Willie McCoy. But down home they called him Slim

Moral of the story: You don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off that old Lone Ranger
And you don't mess around with Slim

lol

You got to love Jimmy Graves reply. I'm sure that's what they were there for, to debate helmet laws and how harsh the biker community is treated...

Police have said five biker gangs from across Texas had gathered in part to settle differences over turf.

Jimmy Graves, who described himself as an ambassador for the gang known as the Bandidos, disputed that claim, saying the groups had planned to discuss laws protecting motorcycle riders and other topics such as trademarks for club logos.

Gangs

I have had very close gang affiliations. I would say without a doubt that there are "flunkies" in every gang. These are typically the trouble makers. You do find those that are too caught up in their own egos that will lash out violently. However, most are respectful when it comes to a "hustle". I have played against drug dealers in the hood where I am the only white person in the bar. I beat one dope dealer who was staking someone I knew that "owned" the bar. I say that because the bar was his but not in his name... I beat the dope dealer out of over $200 and ended up dropping $30 or so on drinks for him and his boy. They were fine when it was all said and done. He had knot of cash that I could not outrun. I told him I was there to party and appreciated the game but I would not keep playing. Luckily...the person I knew told him he could not beat me. So it was a wash. But I have been in situations where I would not by any means get involved in money games. First of all...if you win you will get robbed or worse and if you lose but they think you have more money...you get robbed. It is a no win situation. These were not bikers but bikers are no different. I am older and wiser these days. I am not scared...I just don't want the drama.

We called that Club Fever. These once good guys would drop all their former friends in favor of the patch.

They barely knew or would acknowledge you in public. I figured, no problem. If for whatever reason you take that Patch off your back someday, don't come crawling back and expect our friendship again.

One of the youn pups that was a very distant friend of people I knew and hung with bought himself a Harley. Well, he was all that and a bag of chips.

I thought, FK you Buddy. Until you've slept beside your Harley in a ditch with your jacket for a blanket, you know nothing. That type of thing.

He got himself a local patch and got even worse. I found his wallet in the bar one night. It was one of thoise open at the top wallet, so I could see how much money there was in there. A fair wad.

I gave it to him and the first thing he did was check the money. Screw you Pal, if I had wanted your money, your wallet would have been tossed in the wash room garbage can.

Never even got a beer for it. Better never break down on the road when I'm behind you. I'll wave as I'm riding past.

Now we have, you know who in town. They try to have Swap Meets and other activities. I am of the same feeling many are. I don't support.

You pull into a parking lot with a couple of unmarked vans close by with blacked out windows. If I want my picture taken, I knew where to go to have that done.

I went to a Swap Meet out of town one weekend. The HA were slowly showing more and more presence every year. This HA, obviously worked out cause he looked like a little Arnold S, big club rings on all his fingers. May as well have worn knuckles. He beat the crap out of some skinny dude for absolutely no reason other than to do it.

This guys forehead was split wide open and was losing blood like someone turned on a water tap. I said farewell to my Friends and rode the journey home alone.

Never went anywhere a patch was being worn after that one. I avoid Sturgis like the plague. Over 700K in attendance normally and more expected this year for the Anniversary. I have heard too many Club stories from there. Not my cup of Beer.

Gangs etc.

Gangs are gangs, whether they ride motor cycles or muscle cars, etc. They have strength in numbers and use it for intimidation, they ain't out to win civic awards. I wish the state of Texas would of given them more ammo and let them continue the gun fight as long as it was gang members shooting gang members. Just the way I am......

Sturgis is a great place the week before and the week after. The week of is madness. Seen a couple but heard of a whole lot of people getting beat pretty bad just for walking to close to certain people. It's like old high school drama with the cliques but on steroids.

But he only implied that you wouldn't dare call these people bullies to their faces, because they would probably gang up on you and respond with violence?

Ahh, wait, I guess he did kinda just make your exact point for you without realizing it. I guess I can see how some people might struggle to resolve their disputes with reasoned words...
