The "Cardiac Kid" Lyn Wechsler tops a strong field of 64 in Erie PA.

Like I'm really surprised <yawn>.

Just kidding, Lyn! It's nice to hear about your continued winning ways, and I look forward to bumping into you again soon -- say, SBE?

Congrats Lyn!

Yawn right back at you   . SBE for sure. That is if Allen allows me to play. Some discussion before last years event.

Yeah, I think if you win one of the amateur events, you're not allowed to play in that same event. Not sure if that debarment "crosses over" into the other amateur events, though -- i.e. if they'd bar you from the Open as well.

Anyway, looking forward! Congrats again, pal!

Luke,

Where have you been? There were lots of guys up from Pittsburgh. Hoping to see you. Perhaps next event at Gold Crown.

Lyn

Haven't been playing in a lot of tournaments lately but I plan on getting back in the swing of things. I will definitely try to make the next gold crown event. I'm definitely going to the expo this year. Hopefully I'll see you at a tournament soon! Congrats again!

Congrats Buddy! I am happy to see you win yet another tournament. Now I guess the Crush won't be a big enough spot for me to get the cheese. Lol.

Shout out to Paul Also

Congratulations to the “Cardiac Kid” Lyn Wechsler from Rochester NY. He just snapped off the Fall Tri-State Open Nine-Ball Tournament in Erie PA. Lyn showed a lot of heart and sportsmanship on his way to victory. There was a total of $9500 in Prizes and Calcutta. Lyn thin-cut the 9-ball down the rail to win a hill-hill finals match against Shayne Morrow. A full field of 64 players assembled for a one day, 231 match tournament.

Tournament rules were as follows:

No Conflict Rules for racking and Breaking
No short games, 9 ball spots
No 3 foul rule
No conceding games
Fouls on all balls

Paul puts on the Best Tourney that i have ever attended. The day starts with Coffee , Juice and sweet breakfast treats. Very Classy to start when you walk in the door. Practice till Calcutta. Which Starts exactly on time. Great Auction every time. When that is done the Chart is ready to go. No Waiting at all. The Tourney Runs as Smooth as Silk. Not much waiting between Matches. I can't say enough for the work that Paul does for all us Pool Players. So if you have never attended one of Paul's Events you really are missing something Special. He also has plenty of help. Chart people. People clean every table before every Match. The Room remains Spotless during the Whole Event. So thank you to all of them also. Also i drive 170 miles to attend. I also would drive farther to attend if i had too.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the kudos. Not sure if I'm worthy or not. After I kneecapped half the field and spiked the other half's drinks, it was really easy :grin-square: ! Really do appreciate your comments. Keeps this old guy thinking young. On to the next adventure.

Great victory!

Man you upper state new Yorkers can play!

Must have some thing to do with the snow?

Thanks Rich. What else do we have to do during the Winter than play pool  ? Paul runs a great event. Wish more players would take the drive to Erie.

It doesn't surprise me that you won Lyn. What surprises me is how you fooled all of these fine AZers into thinking your a nice guy! Congrats on the win Lyn. You can tell me all about the kneecapping and drink spiking next time I see you at East Ridge.
