after many e-mails, the IPT responded saying, the checks arrived at the head quarters and they are working diligently to get them out to everyone.

So it took a week for FedEx to deliver checks to the IPT that they failed to deliver on time? We are not talking about a photo album that some Grandma sends to a relative, we are talking about 3 million !

For a second, I thought Bernie was announcing he received his check, and my first thought was Thank God! But now I see it is more stall.

I would have thought with all their talk that the IPT would have put a priority on making sure they were prepared to deliver prompt payments. This sounds like a big red flag for the players.

It is really starting to get old. Surely you all have something important you can be accomplishing instead of just Bi****** all the time. And for what? None of this applies to any of you. Especially Lipsky. He gave up a long time ago. Jay got his check and apologized but now all of a sudden he has a change of heart. Almost would think he is a bit bi-polar.
Oh well, I know I am an idiot for even bothering to post the obvious. Just keep up all the criticism if it makes you feel important. It helps pass the time.

A week later, you still don't have your check. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable in my opinion. I know and have played golf with and against most of the pros. I've even hustled in matches with a few of them. Pool players have jaded reputations and I will be the first to call them out for unsavory actions, but this time they aren't in the wrong and it seems the shadiest of characters is.

May i ask a question that has been bothering me since all this started? Maybe it has been asked before and i missed it. Sorry if it has.
On what Saturday were he checks due/suppose to arrive?
Was it the last Saturday before the finals on Sunday? If so. Then why weren't the checks at the venue the Saturday or Sunday before? Or even the 1st monday of the event when people were already being eliminated? Did the players from the 1st round of eliminations expect to be paid as soon as they were eliminated? Maybe a player could answer this question. Or were they suppose to be paid the following weekend?....My original question is this. Why didn't they have the checks there long before the Saturday that was mentioned so players who were eliminated could be paid?.........just my usual ramblings..but curious minds (mine) want to know...............mike

which would be reasonable For a Tennis tournament but not so for a PT with mostly broke pool players.
#2 They actually told a player that they didnt want the checks around for security reasons until they absolutely had to have them on Saturday. This of course is pretty absurd. Personally i think there was a cash flow problem which hopefully was temporary. We will soon find out.
