Often in China you can find ornate and colorful city gates. These are not gates in the security sense but more in the spiritual sense. They are infused with the hopes and spirit of the inhabitants. In this case we wanted to try and catch a little of of that feeling.

This case is another of our filigree works. The dragons are on two layers intertwining through the sky and sea.

In order to allow the colorful dragons to shine we left the rest of the case as black.

This case will be for sale.

The case is packed full of oriental flavours, you may want to include engraving of a couple of phoenixes at the back of the case in future.

I have a few projects on the board that use the phoenix. I also have a full size drawing done especially for a case by a famous Chinese artist that will be made into a case sometime in the next six months.

I am fascinated by the Chinese circular art and intend on doing a case using that at some point. I just haven't figured out how I want to do it yet.

The extension of this case will be that we do one where every inch of it is covered in colorful details. I have it in my head to do a case with a lot of gold and red and fill it up with mythical symbolism.

Ok. Asia does have a lot of great artists and artisans and a huge range of talent.

What you are seeing now is the result of two solid years of practice where I have trained my team to put out cases according to my vision.

I will post photos of us at work some day. I have plenty. More likely I will do a good video when I get back. I have some video now but it's not very good.

I am disappointed - you didn't show us the inside of the case (the most important part).

I didn't have the pictures of the inside.

I will show them later. Are you going to do this on all my posts now?

I'd really appreciate it Steve if you would just leave me alone if you don't have something constructive to offer.
