The ferrule on my meucci shaft completely broke off.

The ferrule on my meucci shaft completely broke off, and I was wondering if anyone knows if it can be fixed without the shaft getting much shorter after the repair? I guess that any kind of super glue would not work, lol. What would the cost of the repair be (on average)? Thank you to anyone that can help me with some advise.

A repairman can fix this without shortening the shaft. They will just drill out the old tenon and put a new tenon on. The ferrule is installed on the tenon. The tenon and the ferrule are usually threaded together for a more secure connection.

I as well have a shaft like this can it still be fixed even tho the ferrul is long gone ? I never knew that the tenon was just removed and replaced good info

I can thread in a new tenon which will fix the cue correctly & you will lose no length. If your funds are tight then I can also reuse the same ferrule/tip. Or if you like you can upgrade to nicer spec. The new tenon will actually make the cue stronger than original...and many feel the design makes for a better hit as well. If you are interested shoot me a pm for options & prices. I'd only need it one day for the repair. I very well may even be able to ship it back the same day I receive it. :)
