The first time ever.

Brandon is no doubt using Kamui clear tips. The clear section of tip just below the leather and above the ferrule is dehydrated water. It does not happen often but it's not impossible in areas of the deep south for this section of the tip to re-hydrate and soak the tip.

um dehydrated water eh.....

was born at night, but not last night

Sometimes if you have a drink on the shelf, without a coaster, the glass leaves a little puddle of moisture,
it can annoyingly get onto anything... cue, phone, chalk, whatever.

It would be tough to sabotage a cue with a TON of moisture, as in literally soaked.
Spit would just cover the surface and is hard to do sneakily. So is dumping a few drops from a cup.

Maybe the tip glue, or cue silk, something like that became runny and seeped up through the tip.

If it's sabotage there's no chance of figuring it out... if someone saw and didn't have the decency to report
it at the time, they sure won't now.

I had this problem before,,,but I think I know why, in my case. lol.

As I got my keys out to open my house door. I left my case and cues leaned against the wall just outside . It was late ,,it was dark and we had a thunderstorm that night.

Im pretty sure that is why my tips were wet ,,,,,as I dumped water out the case the next morning. It was a sad sight!!!

That is a true story ,,but back on topic.

2 days ago ,at a tournament. I was playing a match and had my cues leaned against a table by me ,,as opponent was shooting. I looked over and noticed the waitress cleaning my player cue with a soaking wet bar towel.
I ask her what she was doing,,,and that I didnt want her to do that!!! She said,,sorry I thought these were house cues!!!! LMAO ( my sticks are nothing like a house cue)

She didnt hurt a thing,,but I couldn't believe it!!! I have never seen this before ,,,ever!!! 30 plus years of playing pool. My shaft was soaking wet,,,,,but she didnt get the tip wet. Who knows what she would have done if I hadn't stopped her.

You don't have enough faith in the AZB network. If sabotage was done (and I doubt if it was), AZBers will report it soon enough or they will at least demonstrate unique ways to accomplish this. I will check with the local voodoo crowd down here in South Louisiana. Marie Laveau may have had something to do with it.....

That explains it; louisiana, has to be vodoo ! I bet there was someone in the pool hall that also has a doll of Brandon and was sticking pins in it. Wait a minute wasn't Cliff hurting? maybe they had one of him as well ! lol !

Is dehydrated water similar to evaporated air?

Maybe the rougaroo did it.

You should post up photos of your miniature cues, here in the Main Forum just to show the majority of people how cool looking they are.

Nice seeing you again in Denver. Thanks for visiting with us. We had a great time, seeing you again and meeting all of the new AZB faces.

Thanks Joey! I will get some pics up of my two new mini cues soon.

That was where my buddy played Claude, Biloxi about 1998?
I could be off by 5 years either way , that's what happens when you get old.
That was where I played dice the first time in my life on the square and won $6200.00 There was probably another 10 grand on the table in play when someone at the end of the table stuck their hand in and hit the dice when I threw them, adios.
I still believe he worked for the casino.
Grady made some money off the roll and had me in his radarthe rest of the trip thinking I had been controlling the dice, and we were going to get rich.
I didn't have the heart to tell him different.lol.

Great story!
