I know everybody have a game in mind, it could his, it could be a friend's game,
it coud be between 2 pros you've witnessed on the rail or just sweating out,
or it could be a game that we all saw on TV that we want to savor again.

The "game" that I want to see again was the game between Efren against one
of Snooker's all time greats, Jimmy White. That was waaay back in '99 when Efren
won it all in Cardiff. Specifically the last game was a beauty! Efren had a tough reverse
bank and had to apply a reverse draw english on the CB to get a good shape on
the next ball. I've been searching for years for this particular game with no success.

Anybody knew what I was talking about?

Varner vs Sigel

If anyone has a copy of the tape of Varner Vs Sigel (circa 89-90), where Nick is down 9-2 racing to 11, gets it to hill-hill, dogs the 9, then wins anyway, I would love to get a copy. Please PM me!!!!!!1
 
 
The most memorable men's match I've ever watched was Marcus Chamat vs Earl Strickland at the 1999? BCA Open in Las Vegas. Relatively unknown to the crowds, despite being the reigning European nine=ball champion, Chamat really showed his stuff in this one, and he rose above Earl's constant, and somewhat embarassing, gamesmanship to win in an 11-10 thriller.

On the women' side, it would be the final of the 2003? WPBA Midwest Classic, in which, despite Corr's phenomenal play, Allison Fisher dug down deep to win 7-6, in what I still consider the best final ever played in a WPBA event.

If straight pool is considered, the one I'd like to see again is Sigel's 129 and out to come from 100 balls behind on Jim Rempe in the 1981 World Open.
 
SJM must have the memory of an elephant; because I think I was with him at that Fisher-Corr match; and I only vaguely remember the details. I remember it was great; but can't remember why (oh well...Alzheimer's isn't so bad).

My most memorable match was definitely the Schmidt-Pagulayan 14.1 matchup at DCC a few years ago. Here is a link to the long description of the match.

A close second would be this year's Buddy Hall-George Breedlove matchup in 9-ball at DCC. GB wins at hill-hill by FOUR FOULING Buddy (didn't warn him that he was on 2 fouls, when Buddy made the third in a row).
 
When I feel like kneeling at the altar I put on DDC06 1-pocket semis Efren-Alex Pagulayan. Alex played great and basically got blown off the table. A short match, and not really a tight battle due to Efren being too good, but still a classic IMO.

I've been hearing a lot of great things about this tape of Efren vs. Alex in the semis, and Efren
vs. Miller at the finals. They said it is a must have, good thing is I just can buy it at Accustats!
