Ring games

We are trying to put together a ring game. $200 a man, winner take all on Saturday nite. Pass the word on- remember new Diamond tables!!!
 
Yeah, they put the new tables in today and I heard they play great. I am looking forward to this weekend.

I don't have the talent to play a ring game llike that so I might just have to sponsor someone who does.:)
 
The single elimination mini last night had 44 players and and the field was packed with good players. Sparky Ferrell, Shannon Murphy, Bill Bailey, Russ Edwards, Sam Monday and many more. Shannon Daulton elected not to play in the mini as he was busy running the event. Nick Varner was in the house as well but did not play. More players are expected to arrive today inluding Gabe Owen who was in town but did not make an appearance.

First place total money was 975.00

Results 1-4 places.

1. Sam Monday
2. Bill Bailey
3. Russ Edwards
4. Wade Aycock

There is an impressive list of players for the main event which starts today at 2:00. If you like to watch great pool and great players you need to come to Breakers today.

I think Marge is going to do updates this afternoon, probably on the main page. I played pretty well yesterday and still couldn't advance to day 2. If I head back over there this afternoon I will tell Marge to get on the ball with the coverage. I am pulling for Mr. Varner as he is my thoroughbred for the event although I have a couple of other darker horses as well.

BTW- Earl is in attendance. He lost his first match IIRC.
Hennessee is also in the house and appears to be in the groove. This is a tough field to say the least.
