The Greatest Pool Shot Ever?

It was fun! I wonder how long the set up took?

We were in Las Vegas at one of the old Miller Light tournaments and he was setting up the shot. I forget how many tables he used but it took like 10 hours. A funny side note. This was the weekend of the Holmes Cooney fight. Cooney stopped in to see some of the tournament and didn't know what the dominos were and messed up one of the tables causing it to have to be done over. Fortunately none of the cues that linked the tables together were in place or he may have wrecked the whole shot.

I wonder how many times they had to set up
I saw him do it a few times in person and it always worked. I guess if for some reason it didn't work he would just get the shot restarted from there so it could finish. He could never set it up again it took too long.

Thanks for the additional insight!

Considering the situation with Scott needing only one ball I think this is one of the best '2' shots in a row I have seen.

That actually falls into the category of "Desperate men do Desperate things".

I remember being at a one pocket tournament and the player I was with lost a critical game and finally the match. He said later he played too good a safe. In other words he gave the other player no choice but to take a flyer and he did and got out.

FYI, videos of lots of great pool shots, including many from Efren, can be found here: great pool shots.

Enjoy,
Dave

Dave,

I totally agree, my favorite ones are the Efren shots, like the one he made against Earl after leaving a safety.

I put the dominoes shot up for fun, but really do like the "real shots" a lot better.
