I can't believe it's already October......

Since the holidays are just around the corner, I thought I'd get a thread going where people can recommend products for gift ideas for the pool players in their families/friends. With times being tough for many of us, it's definitely a good thing to send a little money the way of those that make this game fun for us....

Here are a few places that I'd recommend and/or things I've had my eyes on for quite some time (my parents and relatives are lazy, they just call and ask what I want)

Been lucky enough to meet Justin myself, and I'm gonna ask santa for a couple of vids, a t-shirt (where are the TAR shirts on the site?), a cap, and some patches.

I've heard this stuff if well worth it's weight in gold.

Lessons in 9 Ball by Blackjack, he's gives so much away for free, spend just a few bucks on a great book

All my buddies preach about these, and Royce is good people in my book

Post up your products or those you support. I thought it would be nice to have one thread people can use to shop for the holidays.

Mods, if this is a no-no or something, I can delete, just lemme know....

How about checking with your local cuesmith. See if you can get a gift certificate for a tip, shaft clean, re-wrap, you get the idea.

It's 2010 now....what pool products can we support for this years holiday season???

Post up your recommendation....

Get a box of cue clips and give them out to your friends who play league. They're priced cheap enough by the case that you shouldn't worry if you lose or leave one behind. It also works well as a potato chip bag sealer, and may even work as a hair clip.

Stan's CTE/Pro One DVD

Stan's upcoming CTE/Pro One DVD should be a great gift for pool enthusiasts.
After huge debates over CTE in the past year(s), this will be the best explanation given to Hal's system - and whether one understands it and chooses to use it, or not - still the respective one will end up more knowledgeable.
Just hope the DVD will be ready in due time for Christmas...

I have about 35 pool designs at www.LeagueShirts.com . You can get AZB logo shirts there and any design you can think up! I can also make you a customized pool room sign, car graphics with funny phrases, wipedown towels and more stuff!

At www.LegendsChampions.com, you can get many cool pro player items like these!

Just another vote for the Runoutmedia videos. I have all but the venom trickshot one (mom if your reading that's a hint) Jay Helfert's book is a must have for any pool player. There is a new game out there called Bobble ball which is quite fun for a change of pace on the pool table, great for parties. You can get that through Robin's pro shop or contact her through here. user= Robroy.

Oh and a haircut from BigPerm gift certificate is sure to go a long way in chasing the babes:thumbup:

bump, still time to post up some good holiday pool gifts.....Coco's post reminded me....

Post up your good products we can get for our pool loving family and friends...

I think what I want for Xmas is:

All AZB'ers to take 1 person completely new to Billiards under their wing and teach them to play the game and play it right.

Teach them to pot balls, play safe, the rules etc but also teach them to play and act like (for sake of a better word) Gentlemen. Teach them the Etiquette of the game, to always hate losing, but to always lose with good grace, because lose they will.

That would be a great Xmas Present. I have already offered to take someone who comes into my Wifes Store and show them the game when I get back from the Mosconi Cup. So it's not a case of do as I say not as I do, but it is a case of please follow my lead and help us promote this game to some new blood.

Merry Xmas
