Plenty of time for the night session !

I'm watching now. Is this quality what I can expect throughout the event? Looks like very low def. Rather disappointing.

Edit: content, production, commentators, everything is excellent.

Agreed. Just watched the McMinn/Shaw match and it seemed fairly low resolution. Hoping Accu-Stats can work on this soon.

I haven't watched. Although the previous comments about stream quality being totally ignored is not a good sign. Not sure who or where to give feedback or get support. Anyone know?

Thanks,

They usually are ignored on here until there is a loud enough outcry when things magically get addressed.

If you've bought it and it doesn't look right how 'bout email accu-stats support with the issue. Fredericks or something like that. Of course they'll probably just say you are the only one with the issue. Funny how when complaints are made public sh!t gets done. Also last time I think comments on their Facebook page helped or were being somewhat monitored. They don't glance at AZB.

The stream has been on all day here even through the dinner break and it hasn't frozen once. I don't think any technical issues are on Accustat's end.

I'm not concerned with freezing. I'm concerned with low resolution. The stream I purchased looked to be a really nice 240p type resolution. Edges of balls, rails, etc. were all very blocky and low res. I have a ridiculously fast internet connection and a very nice modern desktop computer that has no trouble displying 4k video. The impression I get is that the video feed is getting scaled quite a lot, and the scaling is very low quality.

I don't really see the logic of concluding the problem is on any end based solely on one's own experience. Could be the problem is on my end. However other streams I watched yesterday looked substantially better. Upstate Al at Mazin's doing the 3 cushion tournament looked great and HD, as did a couple of other streams I viewed.

I wasn't responding to you or the resolution issue. I was just letting people know it's going out good from accustat' s end. Alot of the time people complain about freezing when it's going out fine from the provider. Some people don't purchase these events if they don't know it's going out good ahead of time.

Ah gotcha. Yes it seems to be functioning ok. Its just that it is poor resolution. As bad or worse than Sunday. That tells me it is likely that it is "working as intended", which is even more disappointing than it not working correctly.

It is definitely not up the normal standards, for anything Pat puts out. Every single stream he has had, has been crystal clear.

I wonder if the venue is responsible for the feed. Some of these places are still using 2004 technology. We need more drones.

So The Pearl goes 2 and out. I figured him to make some noise in this one. The Americans seem to be competing well. With as dead as pool is in the US, I figured everyone bu SVB would be in the losers side by now...:grin-square:
