Here's a cue that will be delivered soon. The Invader Cue by Miltonio. One of the reasons why he named it as such is because it's his first order from the Philippines. I like the the name because it's definitely a looker.... so beware of the invader on the pool table...

My pet name for it is Venus because I will pamper it the way a woman should be pampered... Really a divine cue. ;)

More Invader pics

I also predict that it will hit great as Miltonio was very specific in understanding what I like about a cue: Weight, balance point, distances. Enjoy... ;)

Here's his website for those who are curious...

Would it be entirely too rude to ask what a beautiful cue like this runs?

You'd be surprised. It's an expensive cue yes but very good value for money considering the amount of work he put in. If you go to his website you'll see that his basic cues go for $500 to $1000. He will quote you on a specific design in stock or one that he worked out with you (like this 1 of 1 Invader Cue). Then you can decide to push through with the deal or modify till you feel comfortable. I'm sure you'll probably get the best value for money cue you'll ever own... plus the wait's only a couple of months or so. ;)

Please let us know what you think the hit of your Miltonio's like after you've test hit with it. I am getting more interested in butterfly points and it seems like he does really good butterflies.

Sure. It will probably be in July as I am still waiting for a couple of cues. I will have all of them shipped to the Philippines one time to save on shipping cost. Milt did assure me that it gives a solid hit with very firm shafts. That's the way I like it. ;)

58 inches
19 ounces or a bit less
balance point at my desired distance from the butt cap
very firm shafts with super hard tips

Yes. We had a good time talking about how unique Miltonios are... Well, this is it. Most probably won't be my last Miltonio as I now have so many ideas in my head (and seeing what he can do)...

No ivory for a change as Milt perfers not to use it. Though he would do it if it were a must. So I that's how it went. ;)

Thanks. Actually, this cue was "toned down" so to speak. I fell into the trap of trying to put in to many design elements on the cue. So we came up with this final version that we felt had the same beauty and impact we wanted. ;)

Great. Let's schedule something at Ed's penthouse when the cue arrives. I think he'll be ordering one too. He might get one that's already in stock. If so, you'll get to hit with 2 of Milt's cues. ;)

simple designs

Less is More... I think these are good examples... ;)

The # 3 cue do u have a better pic and a price on that q ...
Pm the info plz..

to my knowledge, all of Miltonio's cues are 1/1's. His available cues (also 1/1s) are pictured in the cues section of his website --- but many of them are already sold. He gave me a list of the available cues which I'm showing to my friend as he also wants one. here's the list of the cue numbers:

999
900
602
1202
401
199
903
399
998
1002

I think the lowest priced cue on the list is about $700. If you really like #3, maybe you can ask him to make you a similar 1 with your choice of woods etc. It takes about 2 months only. He's very accomodating.

Here's his pricing according to his FAQ:
Cue prices start at $500. The average price of a Miltonio Custom Cue with one shaft is between $650 and $850. The average cost of a Miltonio cue with two shafts, joint protectors (example) and a 10" extension (examples 1 2), varies between $850 and $1,600. More complex design elements, rare woods and other options (example) will cost more. All prices include shipping within the U.S.A.

Arrival

The cue will probably arrive next week along with other stuff I picked up. I will post pictures and inform you guys how well it plays. Thanks. ;)

Mmmmm Beeer... I mean... cue

I pretty much gravitate towards the simpler classic designs, however *drooool* Nice cue. Very innovative. I wonder if some of the eclecticness (made up word) could be the next "southwest" style.

Fedex tracking info says that the cue is already at the Fedex Subic Freeport Terminal - Philippines. Hopefully I will get the cue today or tomorrow.... Will hit with it and then post pics and give a short assessment. :D ;)

Just got the CUE!!! WOW. Here are some pics I took.
