Glen Hancock (AKA RealKingCobra) arrived last week with my Brunswick Gold Crown IV table. The install started on Wednesday and was completed on Thursday. Glen installed a Simonis 860HR tournament blue cloth on it. There were no staples used for securing the cloth. He used glue exclusively (except in the pockets). He was very informative through out the install answering a zillion questions that I had along the way. I would give him a 5 Star rating if there was a rating system. I have enclosed some pictures that I took as it was being installed. I hope you all enjoy them.[/B][/B]

Beautiful table. I've heard nothing but good things about King Cobra. He seems to do a bang up job on everything he touches.

Hope you get lots of enjoyment out of the table.

Greg

Thanks Greg....I wish I could have done this 30 years ago. Now I know why Earl Strickland uses a 72 inch cue

Congrats!Great looking room, hours of fun in the future.pic`s are a little small, but Ron I can`t wait till I can post the pics of my room.Bring on the beer!lol.

Wow, Nice. Actually looks a little too nice, that table looks new but we know it can't be being a 4.
How old is it, and where did it come from?
Must not have come from a pool hall.

Besides that RKC is cheating you or your next mechanic the healthy and muscle building activity of removing hundreds of well dug in staples.
Single handedly weakening and entire industry of future workers.

The pics seem a little small because the forum says you must keep the pics below 100 KB...so I had to make them 4 X 3 @72DPI to meet this criteria. I lost my first match on my table....my 11 year old granddaughter beat me:smile :

Ron, I want to thank you for your patients in waiting on me to deliver and set up your table, I know it took a lot longer than either one of us expected, and for that all I can say is I'm sorry for the delays. I hope now you'll enjoy playing pool on a good pool table for the rest of your natural life...and have fun doing it.

Glen

Now, I have to try and get into Canada to get Ian his table next, what a nightmare having to wait on a passport just to drive 2 miles into that country!

I purchased the table on Ebay from an older gentleman in Seattle , Wa. There was a ladies pool tournament being held in Oregon which he attended in 2004 and after the tournament was over he purchased the table. It has never been in a pool hall. When Glen removed the old (just like new) green Simonis cloth there was only one set of staples in the frame. The cloth he removed was also installed with glue. He was going to install Artimus cushions (free of charge) but the orginal cushions were like new so I told him to use them. It's like a classic car...I tried to keep it all original (except for the paint)

Glen...As long as you keep your communications open with Ian, I'm sure he will be patient. His main concern is that you'll never get back to New York
