The Ladies of pool, where are they now?

Tammy(Tammie) Wesley Jones was a friend that moved into women's pro pool in the eighties. She moved and I didn't keep up with her. Caught up with her a little through AZB, she said that she was ranked pretty high for awhile. Fun lady to be around! Just friends but we were friends and I'm sad when I think about her being gone.

Not really a "where are they now"...but this looks to be from the early days of the internet and has quite a few pretty cool pics about the people being mentioned in this thread....plus a few other well known names from back in the day.

It's been discussed a lot on this forum, and what (I believe) it boils down to is that men are just naturally more aggressive.
There's very strong scientific evidence that men and women have significantly different visual processing abilities. Gestational testosterone seems to change which parts of the vision- processing brain develop more. Women render colors more accurately and men render moving objects and object resolution better. When your wife or gf can't figure out why you call everything from an orange to a red wine "red" it is because men literally don't see color as well. The upside is seeing shapes better and moving objects better.

its not a new fallacy, it's got roots !
I find this very hard to read, its so blurry, but if you can read it , there is a funny bit that basically says the woman should play pool, its a great pastime, fun to play , but that a woman shouldn't practice so much she gets better than her husband ;-)
you can read into it the mentality, Brunswick realized pool had a bad rep, as it was related to gambling joints and other male dominated establishments, and BBC was trying to get women into the sport, to sell more tables. get them into people's homes.

Surely there is a non blurred out version somewhere on the web. I can remember back when a web search wasn't only finding links to stuff for sale. .....Then along came google who sells the search result priority.
