:D I have figured out some good constructive critisizm for anyone in here that always gets bad rolls!

I think you should read the little train that could! Read the part that says "I think I can, I think I can!"

That should help anyone out with the mental portion of pool. I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier! We just haven't simplified it enough for some of these people!

Does anyone else have any books that are easy to read so that people can easily comprehend the message?

That's an insult to those of us that specialize in the field and that are dedicated to helping others in that area of the game. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that the DCP bashing threads are getting old. I find these types of threads twice as annoying as DCP's.

Lol

Does it encourage kids that need to be potty trained? If it does then it might just help some people in here!

On the other hand if it teaches them that poop happens it might not help the people complaining that they always get bad rolls!

I guess I am going to have to read the book! LOL

It's cool. It's just that right now there are quite a few separate threads that are addressing this issue already. I've always been one that believes that it is better to encourage a person and build their confidence instead of discouraging them and tearing them down. That's just my style of teaching and working with other people. No offense intended towards you, buddy!

I know exactly what you are saying, however they have been trying to build him up for a long time now, and he even stated that 9 years of practicing and 4 or 5 different instructors and he still hasn't learned anything! So the sarcastic people like me tend to rip on people after that! LOL

I am sorry, I will go to my room now!

Actually, there is some merit to your idea. Thinking positive thoughts while you are shooting is one part of the mental process that I do suggest to my students. It's actually pretty revealing that some of those fundamental lessons we were taught when we were children can apply to our game (and our lives) as we get a little older.

While the motivation behind the post may be a little off, the actual post presents a good example of the power of positive thinking.

half a rep!
