The mental part of pool

I think I have a 60% accuracy on shots with a lot of green and shots that are basic cut shots. I have no ball control.

Not trying to insult bar players but very few of them know how to play. They just hit the ball and hope it goes in. I think their 20% accurate when they shoot. But I can barley beat them. So my skill level is low.

I have been practicing about 4 hours a week for the last 6 months. Yes I practice drills and really focus on my stance and stroke. And I am just starting to see improvements,

My mental game is killing me. I lose concentration, easily get the big head after a couple of good shots even though I know my skill level is very bad. Plus I want everyone including myself to think I am better than I am. I never say that I do this sub consciously. I know my skill level. After a good game or 2 is when everything goes to he11 even my stance and stroke.

If it was not for my mental game I would be so much better.

Does anyone else have to practice their mental game almost as much as actually practicing shot.

Seriously Black-Balled --- why are you respond when you don't have any point. Your just a waste of time

You posted the same type of questions 5 years ago. You mention how terrible you play, why have you not improved in the last 5 years? You are also kind of rude and I doubt many take you seriously. You have to give respect to get respect.

The mental game is a habit. Gotta practice it all day every day all day.
