The most expensive modern cue ever on ebay?

So if I'm reading this correctly.. it was made for the smithsonian but never went because another cue he made went instead but because it was commissioned for them it's worth 60k? umm nice try but no thanks lol

Some of the high dollar cues I've seen have been really, really elaborate and one can sort of understand why they fetch a high price, look at the expensive Pechauer for instance, but this cue isn't all that elaborate or original and the museum story doesn't seem to be all that interesting to me. The cue looks kind of cheap, sorry to say.

Thats what I'm saying. Though I don't like how black boars play I've seen 20 to 30 thousand dollar cues that just blow you away with the work and materials put in. This looks like an average cue who's sole selling point is it was commissioned for the museum and I say so what lol sounds like you agree

I left him a message like this "I offer 3k for the Bender cue which is about what it is worth on a good day, no offense, but the malachite alone makes this cue very undesirable. Thanx for you consideration"., ...can't wait to hear the response. Shoddy feedback too. He says that cue number one is very playerable, I wonder if this one is very playerable too..LOL!

This cue is by far the most expensive modern cue I've ever seen on ebay. Just got to look under my couch cushion for an extra 60 k:rolleyes:.

The cue is not really to my taste with all the green, almost looks like a Pechauer lol, but kind of strange to see a linen wrap on such an expensive cue. Goes to show that taste is subjective. If I had 60K for a cue, I would not order this, that's for sure. Does anyone on the forum know of cues in the 5 figures who are actually being used to play?
I wonder if this cue will ever hit a ball?

Hmmm...that "Free Shipping" is really enticing.

I'm pretty sure that cue has been listed for years now. I remember seeing it while searching for Meucci stuff, and I haven't been into Meucci stuff since about 2010.
