I just watched the Big Dog 1 Pocket stream and I am really impressed with how well all these young guys shoot balls in under pressure.
I am still old school about the game in some regards but as someone once said "The best defense is 8 and out.
I didn't see as many 8 and outs as I did 5 or 6 and sell out the farm trying to get out though.
I can't say when these guys should lay off a shot, because they make too many shots I would have looked at once and went "Not for the money".
I know we all get caught up in the moment when everything you shoot at is going in.
I also wonder how well some of them would do if they could get their 4, 5 or 6 balls and lay off that really low percentage shot and instead cut off their opponents air .
I have no problem with taking a wild shot if you are drowned in a game and have a chance to get a few balls but even then I am not going to shoot trying to get 1 or lose.
Any opinions ?

My opinion is that as is the case with most things in life, usually it's best to take neither extreme. I think being too careful can get you in as much trouble in 1pkt as being too much of a risk taker.

The advantage can change quickly in this game and if you are always ducking, sooner or later the duckor becomes the duckee.
