What was the final tally?
And the word is out.....too bad i will be working monday night so i wont be able to join in on the chat. hopefully its archived so i can check it out.
glad to see a trend is starting, hopefully it keeps on going and we get to see more great matches !

For example, rather then the normal break, Pat vs "whomever" could start with the same "ball-in-hand break out shot set up" for each rack, try to make "all" the balls (rather then leave a break out shot), and given a certain number of racks apiece. A missed ball means the end of that rack. After a designated certain number of matches have been played, those with the highest points vs Pat (say a dozen or so peeps) can go off against each other! This of course would be in addition to regular matches (challenges or exhibitions) such as those between you and Pat and Mike vs Jerry.
I wrote this kind of quickly and hope it makes sense. 14.1 needs more coverage and who better then Pat could do that!!!
Pat spelled backwards is "Tap" -- how appropriate!
Am I way off here --- what do others think about this idea?

Hi everybody,
I am so rarely in the forums, but I'm delighted by all the positive feedback on the match Monday and wanted to personally thank everyone. I was honored to be involved in the commentary, and really had a great time doing it. Thanks to Pat Fleming for hosting us, to Jerry for his play and insight into the match, and to Debbie and the rest of the team for their help in the production.
Beyond that, I'm so happy Mike was able to give the viewers a chance to really appreciate once again not only his skills and talent, but also his changed attitude/outlook on pool and life in general.
By the way, I don't know if I mentioned this during the commentary, but Mike ran an unfinished 108 in practice right before the match. I get to see it every day at the pool room, but I wish Pat had gotten it on film for the fans!
Thanks again for everyone's support, and we hope to see you at the World Tournament and/or the US Open!
Best,
Megan Smith
