The nicest Jim Buss cue ever! 8pt fs ft

Just a little more background on Jim Buss for those that already don't know.
Jim is a rocket scientist with McDonald Douglas (Boeing) corporation. He was the first civilian to sit at launch control for a space shuttle mission. He is also a former president (and I think the first) of the American Cuemakers Association. Oh, and he loves to talk. Jim is currently living in St Louis and can be found in his shop most evenings. Even if you run by to just have a tip put on, be prepared for a minimum 30 minute stay as he is full of stories and knowledge & hard to get away from. He has a fairly large shop and interesting photos hung around.

Oh and he rides a Harley.

St Louis has it's share of great cuemakers - Buss, Terbrock, BlackCreek, Patrick and a new maker CueBall (Kenny).

Ok after talking to a few people I've come up with a cash price if you want to just buy the cue
$2,150.00 SH included

In fact the last time I talked with Jim, he still had a copy of the cue that was put in the Smithsonian. Both cues were built at the same time, one was sent and one was kept. Who knows it may be for sale!!!!!!!;)

Thanks for sharing the cue!! It is really a great cue!!!!!

First offer of $1,700.00 gets it for the AZ crowd
Good LORD that's a lot of money! How 'bout I give you $1.29, and you lemme feel the wrap?

"Cheap Pete", played by Chris Rock, from "In Living Color"

OK, I took liberties with his catch phrase, but you'll get the joke if you ever saw the skits. :p

Nice cue though.
