Date of this cue

I removed the bumper this evening. The date underneath it is 12/22/08. The cue is 100% mint. I spun all three pieces in a lathe and they were all dead straight. This cue is 7 years and 4 months old, but looks like it came out of Barry's shop today. Amazing!

Here's the answer to your question as to the specs:

Length: 29 + 29 = 58

Weight: 18.8 oz with either shaft; the butt alone weighs 14.7 oz (both shafts weigh 4.1 oz)

Shaft diameters are 13.10mm and 13.07 mm.

The specs are perfect and the hit of the cue is amazing.

Matt just made stains in his jeans, trousers, shorts, whatever he's wearing....lol :)

Cue weight more important than the shaft size & 13mm always works.......perfect specs.

Oh well, skins did the same thing scoring another impressive rare specimen with ideal specs.

Naturally, my envy level is over the top but it's great to know these cues even exist with my specs.

I've been preaching about the difference with playing with ivory joint cues under 19 ounces for awhile.

You guys have the best of the best and like I said, I wish it were me......but it ain't & so obladi oblada.

It'd be great to attend SBE 2017 & find the Hercek cue I have long sought....maybe that's my destiny.
